Landscape Foreman

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping operations and crew in creating and maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces.

This role blends physical field work with leadership and project oversight. You will work alongside the crew daily, manage job flow, ensure quality standards are met, and occasionally complete projects independently when crew members are unavailable. This position is ideal for someone ready to take ownership of projects.

Pay: $30,000 base salary + $20,000–$50,000 estimated commissions
Job Type: Full-time, year-round
Work Location: In person

​Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily landscaping projects with a crew of 2–3 team members and occasional subcontractors

  • Perform hands-on labor alongside the crew, including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, construction, irrigation installation, and tree care

  • Run entire jobs independently when crew members are unavailable

  • Assign tasks, manage workflow, and maintain productivity and quality standards

  • Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and industry best practices

  • Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and clean job sites

  • Coordinate materials and daily job logistics

  • Communicate project progress, issues, and completion status to management

  • Train new crew members and enforce performance and attendance standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in landscaping, landscape maintenance, lawn care, construction, irrigation, tree care, gardening, or horticulture

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a landscaping or construction environment

  • Strong working knowledge of landscape techniques, tools, and equipment

  • Ability to lead by example and motivate a crew

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail

  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in all weather conditions

  • Valid driver’s license (required)

  • Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $30,000 annually

  • Commission: Estimated $20,000–$50,000 annually based on project profitability

  • Signing Bonus: $500 paid upon onboarding completion
